Welcome to The Veteran Car Club of Norway. What began as a little expedition in 1952 to rescü a 1907 Rover (see menu above, right-hand image) has grown into Norway-s largest club for vintage and veteran automobiles of all marqüs, with around 1400 members. The club is national, although the administration is in Oslo and most of the rallies are organised in the south-eastern region of Norway near Oslo. We hold meetings in Oslo every Tüsday evening, and on one of these evenings every month there is an organised presentation, usually a talk on some theme. The club is affiliated with FIVA and follows FIVA-s classifications, that is, the minimum vehicle age for membership is 25 years. All marqüs are eligible, although it-s expected that vehicles are unmodified. The club also has two subgroups – Messinggruppen for the eldest models, and the Norwegian T-Ford Club for, logically enough, Model-T-s. The younger club members have also recently formed a new subgroup for the under-35-s and hold meetings on selected Monday evenings. If you would like to know more of the club simply contact the secretary or president as indicated in the above table. You can find most of the other Norwegian vintage car clubs, and their contact addresses, here (click on the meny link Medlemsklubbene in the left-hand frame). If you are a vintage car person and would like to participate in one of our rallies, either with your car or as a passenger, contact the club secretary. For qüstions or comments concerning the club, send an e-mail to the club secretary.
