Oluf SögaardHe is an expert on Morris Minor/1000. He has since 1966 restored and sold more than 1.800 in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Netherlands, and Belgium etc. He owns what is probably the most complete collection of Minors existing, including a specimen from each of the years 1949-1971 besides a number of very special models. Email: mail@morris.dk(please write in english or danish) A two-door version of the Minor saloon, from the first year of export to Denmark. The production began the year before; and until 1951 the Minor existed only in a two-door form (saloon and tourer). Special features of this original model (Series MM) comprise: Main beams low set in the front proper. Side-valve engine (until Minor Series II from 1952/53). Split vee-screen (until Minor series 1000, from 1956). Original leather seat covering. Original colour: maroon red. Actually it is still driveable, Oluf says proudly, but it dösn-t accelerate, I-d say, -rather, it gathers speed! And you-re lucky if you ever exceed 70 km/h (45 mph).———————————————————-Han er ekspert i Morris Minor/1000.
